Alpha would like to announce a new push pin heat sink series.
This new series has counterbore features added to the fin side of the heat
sink.
These features allow for push-pin and spring attachment in height
constrained applications.
These features allow Alpha to offer a wider variety of push-pin and spring
options, as longer
springs with weaker spring rates can be used.
The counterbores are created at the same time the fins are formed by our
MicroForging technology.
Therefore, they eliminate the need to perform additional secondary machine
work, allowing for a lower
cost than previous push pin heat sinks.
Available fin patterns are based on our LPD and UB series, and are offered in a variety of base sizes and heat sink heights.
Alpha offers an extensive catalog of standard push pins and springs as well as online design tools which allow for a simple push pin and spring selection process.
