Alpha has announced the new LT series of heat sinks, which replaces the SB series.
This new series has the same fin thickness, pitch, base size and height as the SB series, but utilizes a different fin configuration. In terms of thermal performance, there is virtually no difference between the SB and LT series.
Due to the LT series use of an inline fin configuration, as opposed to the staggered fin configuration of the SB series, the modification and creation of semi-custom parts will be much quicker and simpler.
The standard LT series sizes are as follows:
